Hi fans in my last post I showed you how to DIY your pumpkin spice. But here's one example of using your pumpkin spice. We"ll also use this blend for pumpkin spiced bacon, pumpkin spiced cauliflower bake and pumpkin spiced sweet potato pie. So in the coming weeks you'll receive these recipes. So enjoy





Pumpkin spiced beef mini empanadas
1 lb ground beef
1 shallots chopped
1/4'c golden raisins
1 tbsp tomato paste
1/4 tsp pumpkin spice (recipe from previous post)'
1box.Pillsbury pie crust dough cut into circles
Method
In a large non stick skillet cook the beef and sshallot over medium heat stirring occasionally and breaking with a spoon. Until beef is Brown's and shallots softens.6_8 minutes. Pour off any excess fat and return to pan. Add raisins, and stir in tomato paste and pumpkin spiceAva cook stirring often until raising soften 2 minutes. Season let cool to room temperature
Working with one pie crust circle at a time spoon about 2 tablespoon fuls of beef mixture. Moisten edge with water and fold in half. Crimp edges.to seal repeat with meat and pie dough circles.
Meanwhile in a large pot, heat the oil over medium high heat until hot. Working in batches fry the mini empanadas turning once until golden Brown 4 minutes serve with yogurt

Tip. Want to make more empanadas for later flash freeze.for 1 hour then store in zip lock baggies and freeze until you are ready to eat just fry as directed on the recipe for 5 minutes instead of 4 minutes
