Balsamic onion salad recipe



hi fans, im sharing my sister's balasmic onion salad, so heres a story, my sister molly first made this recipe with her husband and in laws at a creek, they didnt have ariel, colt and penny then, but they had a lot of fun and this photo shows you how to boil corn, you boil it for 1/2 hour and its cooked.
i marinated the onions in the white balasmic glaze, 1/4 cup of it chef terri dien gave me as a thank you for coming to cooking class gift, you could use regluar balasmic vineger, i seared it, but you can grill it like molly did, so its a simple easy side dish to take on potlucks, its a great recipe on hand for camping so enjoy!

Balasmic onion salad
2 red onions
2 large tomatoes
4 ears of corn
1/4 cup white balasmic glaze plus more to coat onions

slice the red onions into slices,(like youre making onion rings) but thick enough on the grill, do not seperate rings, just leave it as it is. marinate in 1/4 cup balasmic glaze before grilling. (you can grill the corn after boiling, but i just decide to leave it its color) grill the onions for 2-3 minutes on each side or less until done. cut corn off the cob and dice the warm onions, cut tomatoes and place in a bowl, add a little more balasmic glaze, if desired
