Creamed spinach with tortellini

Ready for day one recipe this isn't a entry this is one of the basic meals using my go to @challengedairyinc butter and whipped cream cheese to create this creamed spinach with tortellini and ohh my you'll be in dear heaven with this recipe and will be at home keeping you entertained with my recipe ideas so here it is @livingacreativelife_ and @rachaelray

Creamed spinach with tortellini
For creamed spinach
2 tbl @challengedairyinc butter
1/2 onion chopped 
2 cups fresh spinach leaves, washed and patted dry with paper towels.
2 cloves garlic grated
Freshly cracked black Pepper
3 tbl @challengedairyinc whipped cream cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese plus 1/4 cup  more at the end of cooking process
a touch of half and half
1 package @barillaus tortellini
1/4 cup reserved pasta water
Method
In a large skillet heat butter over medium heat once hot add onion and saute for 8 minutes or until soft not caramelized then add in spinach and allow to wilt do in batches so all are wilted down properly.  Once wilted add in grated garlic stir for a minute and add 3 tbl cream cheese anf stir to melt and add parmesan chesse starting with 1/2 cup  and a touch of half and half.
In meanwhile bring a salted pot of water to a boil then add tortellini and cook until cooked through according to package directions. Drain and add to skillet over spinach mixture and fold to coat, add the reserve pasta water and more parmesan cheese and fold gently to coat. Divide into bowls and serve immediately.
