Hi foodies it's Ava marie here and I took an exciting blogger challenge for langs chocolates and we had to create 3 dishes using keystone pantry allulose sugar subistute. A entree, a sauce/marinade and a dessert. So it's such a sweet but tangy bbq sauce and it's good for your waistline so try it for yourself and I hope you enjoy this bbq sauce recipe. I did a previous post on BlackBerry bbq sauce it's a take on that.

The winners of the contest will be determined by judging all qualifying entrants' submissions based on the following criteria:
  1. Visual Appeal: 25%
Does the recipe show well on a plate or in a bowl? Do your eyes make you want to eat this recipe before you even smell or taste it?
  1. Creativity: 25%
Does your recipe show originality? Is this recipe reflective of unique twists to ingredient usage? Have you incorporated your personal touch to this recipe?
  1. Taste: 50%
Does this recipe taste great with every bite? Would you want to make this recipe over and over again based on taste alone? Does it contain interesting, yet gratifying flavor combinations?
To take the challenge, participants can submit an entry form at www.langschocolates.com starting on July 15, 2018. To qualify for the Keystone Pantry Allulose Blogger Recipe Challenge the following rules apply:
  • Must be 21 years old or older at time of entry
  • A legal U.S. resident - Void where prohibited
  • Food blog must be updated frequently (at least once per week) and has been in existence for at least 6 months

Recipe Details
Lang’s Chocolates will send qualified applicants one 3 lb. jar of Keystone Pantry Allulose to create their original recipe. Your original recipe must be from the category you entered.
Categories are desserts and baked goods (excluding ice cream), sauces, marinades, barbeque (rubs/sauces) and the last category includes entrées.
Recipes only using Keystone Pantry Allulose will be considered.


How to Submit Your Recipe
You must publically post your final recipe along with pictures of your jar of Keystone Pantry Allulose on your food blog, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram to qualify. Lang’s Chocolates social media links and website URL must be included when posting your recipe on your food blog to qualify. You must also tag Lang’s Chocolateson all of your social media platforms using the hashtags #Keystonepantry and #Alluloserecipe. When compiling the list of ingredients for your recipe, you must state; Keystone Pantry Allulose. Please email your original recipe tocontest@langschocolates.com, including photos (jpeg) of your finished recipes, along with links to your published recipes by the contest deadline. Applicants are responsible for complying with all rules of Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram.

CONTEST TIMELINE & IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Strawberry black pepper Balsamic bbq sauce 

2 baskets fresh strawberries chopped finely and trimmed 
1 1/2 cups keystone pantry allulose sugar subistute 
2 cups low sugar ketchup 
1 tsp black pepper 
2 tsp balsamic vinegar 

Method 
Add all ingredients in a pot heat to dissolve the sugar subistute and take off heat and using a handheld blender to puree the strawberry bits( be careful when blending liquids it will splatter at you, you can use a blender and place back to pot and cook on med low until thick like bbq sauce 15-20 minutes stir occasionally store in mason jars and it's good up to 2 weeks
