Ravioli caprese salad with pesto rice wine vinaigrette (firehouse subs side dish recipe contest)

Hi foodies it's Ava marie here yesterday night I was challenged to a food network sponsored contest firehouse subs side dish contest to pair with a sub  I choose Italian sub because my raviolis are perfect for the pairing of the sandwich there are 3 other subs I saw other entries from Coleslaw to pasta salad and I think I got what it takes to win top ten and may be a chance at 5,000.00 prize. Ravioli caprese salad with pesto rice wine vinaigrette

1 package frozen or fresh  mushroom ravioli
1 cup halved cherry tomatoes
1 cup cubed mozzarella cheese
For basil rice wine vinaigrette
3 tbl olive oil
2 tbl rice wine vinager
1 1/2 tbl store bought pesto
2 tbl agave
2 clove of garlic grated
Salt and pepper
Method
For the vinaigrette: layer ingredients in order listed in mason jar and close lid and shake hard for 45 seconds and set aside you get the salad ready.
In a bowl combine mozzarella and halved cherry tomatoes and toss with some of the dressing toss to coat set aside.
In a large pot of water bring it to a boil heavily salt. Then add the ravioli and cook for 2-3 minutes drain and run under cold water to shock the cooking process and then gently toss to combine with the mozzarella and tomatoes be careful it's super delicate pasta and add more pesto vinaigrette to your liking if you want less go for it it's all about the creativity get cooking
