Mashed potatoes with garlic and white cheddar (twist on my mom's recipe)

Happy belated thanksgiving we had a feast of holiday baked ham, stuffing and of course the mashed potatoes with garlic and white cheddar a mom's mashed potatoes with garlic and white cheddar twist. So I hope you enjoy this recipe as we do get on cooking

Mashed potatoes with garlic and white cheddar
4 russet potatoes peeled and diced
5 tbl butter
1/4 cup half and half
Pinch of salt
2 cloves grated garlic
1 1/2 cups white cheddar cheese

Method
Add potatoes to a pot of water to a boil and reduce heat and cook for 20 minutes or until fork tender drain and return potatoes to pot. Add butter and cream mash with potato masher along with cheddar and garlic together and mash to mix and season with salt and serve with gravy enjoy
