Raspberry mint julep cocktail (for steviva food blogger challenge)

This entry I needed serious help with a kind south San Francisco mixlogist meredith of bitters and bottles accepted my challenge so so she made a raspberry simple syrup using #steviva must adjust to taste so let me know if you like this cocktail jack Daniels fans drink responsibly and don't drive









Raspberry mint julep

Raspberry Steviva Syrup (please tinker to taste. I haven’t worked with

·       Raspberry Steviva Syrup
·       3/4 cup stevia
·       1 cup water
·       1 1/2 cups fruit, frozen or fresh. Raspberries should be washed first.
Bring the stevia, water, and fruit to a boil.
Turn down the heat and simmer 20 minutes.
Remove from heat, and pour through fine mesh strainer.
Set to cool and store in fridge for up to 3-6 months

Julep Cocktail:
2 oz (Vodka, whiskey, rum, brandy) we used Jack Daniels 
½ oz Raspberry Stevia Syrup
2-3 sprigs of herb mint, rosemary, tarragon, etc
Muddle, add ice and spirit, stir
