She wants to not only compete against me, but to check out demos, meet other chefs and bloggers and more. Mushroom cheesesteaks with two pepper garlic cream cheese smear on a torta bun

For 2017 world food championship
Ingredients
For the scallion pepper garlic cream cheese smear
1 8oz tub challenge soft cream cheese room temp
2 scallions ends trimmed and sliced
1/2 red bell pepper seeded and diced finely
1 hatch chilies seeded and diced finely
2 garlic cloves grated
2 tbl canola oil
For the mushroom cheesesteaks
1 8 oz sliced baby Bella mushrooms
1/2 red onion sliced
1/2 red bell pepper seeded and sliced
2 tbl canola or avocado oil
2 tsp balsamic vinegar
Salt and pepper
For the sandwich part
2-3 torta rolls split and toasted
3 slices sharp cheddar cheese slices
Method
For the cream cheese smear:
In a bowl combine cream cheese and grate garlic to the cream cheese set aside
In a small skillet hear oil over medium heat and add scallions, both peppers and salt and pepper and cook until translucent 6-7 minutes add to the cream cheese mixture fold in to combine cover and place back to the fridge until sandwich making
In a another large skillet hear oil over medium heat and add onions and peppers and cook until translucent for 5 minutes. Add the mushrooms and balsamic vinegar and cook for additional 5 minutes then divide into three mounds and place a slice of cheese on each mound let it cook 2 minutes more until melted
Meanwhile spread the two pepper garlic cream cheese smear onto torta rolls then top with mushroom cheesesteaks mounds and place top bun and you'll get taste of Philly to a whole new level
