Agave lemon bbq spam musbi (for food blogger steviva challenge)

Hi foodies, I took this fun blogger challenge had to include a dessert, a entree and beverage today I present you with my agave lemon bbq spam musbi using my dad's bbq butter sauce and so this dish will make my Asian pals go wowwowwow so make this and you're good to go instead of teriyaki we replace it with bbq agave sauce yum

Agave lemon bbq spam musbi

For the sushi rice
2 cups sushi rice (recommended: lundberg brand)
3 1/2 cups water
For the agave lemon bbq sauce
3 tbl nectevia agave
4 tbl butter
Juice and zest of 1 lemon
1/2 cup bbq sauce
For the spam musbi
1 can spam low sodium recommended
6 sheets nori seaweed
In a small pot add rice and water and let soak off heat for 30 minutes before bringing to a boil (do not skip this step for musbi making)
After 30 minutes turn on heatand bring it to a boil then reduce the heat to a simmer and simmer for 20 minutes with cover on .
Meanwhile in a saucepan melt butter over medium heat and add agave nectevia, lemon juice and zest and bbq sauce let it cook for a 2 minutes then turn off heat.
After 20 minutes check on sushi rice and take cover off after 10 mincutes off heat and fluff with a spoon.
In a skillet spray pan with non stick cookingspray over medium heat and on one side baste spam slices with bbq lemon sauce and cook bbq sauce side down for 4 minutes baste with another side and flip to Brown the other side and transfer to a plate
To make musbi wrap sushi mat with plastic wrap and lay a piece of nori on top of sushi mat. Moisten with water with fingers layer with sushi rice and place a spam slice into center carefully roll to seal and moisten edges and roll both sides to look like a burrito. Let it sit then cut in half and serve
Crosswise repeat with more musbi.
