spicy melon salsa

Hi foodies yesterday I made this cantaloupe salsa for the fiesta night for mom, dad and I. We went to la tapitia in ssf california to get.rice beans and guac to complete the meal made tacos and it was a fiesta like no other for a small amount of people so during the tough times let's keep cooking like a fiesta yum!

Spicy melon salsa

From fresh approach crew 

2 cups diced cantaloupe 

1 jalapeno seeded and diced

1 red onion diced finely

1/2 cup chopped cilantro

2 limes juiced 

1/4 tsp kosher salt

Method 

Remove seeds and rinds from cantaloupe and dice 

Remove seeds and finely dice the jalapeno being careful not to tough any part

(Wash hands with cold water it helps heal burns from the pepper)

Chop the cilantro, dice the onion 

Toss all ingredients in a bowl and mix until well combined. Taste and season with more salt if needed

Serve with Chips or on tacos enjoy
