Hey fans of my blog, my dad made this basting sauce for his chicken recipes from wings to thighs I'd be happy to share my daddy's own basting sauce made with lemon zest/juice, honey and bbq sauce. All made into a sauce pot so enjoy this recipe from my.dad Marty ok.
Honey lemon bbq basting sauce for chicken
3 tbl butter
Zest and juice of half lemon
3 tbl honey
1/2 cup your favorite bbq sauce
Method
In a small saucepan melt butter over medium low heat. Add zest and juice then honey and heat for 30 seconds then add the bbq sauce heat for a few minutes it's ready to baste your favorite chicken
