cranberry pumpkin biscuits

Got a great idea for a holiday biscuit.for your next gathering this Christmas or even thanksgiving try to make biscuits in place of dinner rolls hot and delish. Idea is from the food network magazine enjoy





Cranberry pumpkin biscuits
2 1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup canned pumpkin puree
1/2 cup dried cranberries
2 tbl baking powder
1 tbl sugar
1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
1 stick diced cold butter
1 cup buttermilk
Method
Preheat oven to 425. Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and kosher salt in a food processor and pulse until combined. Add a stick of dice cold butter and pulse  until looks like coarse meal with bits of butter peas. Add in cranberries and canned pumpkin pulse a few times until combined. Add 1 cup buttermilk to the food processor pluse a couple more times until dough comes together. Turn onto a floured surface and pat  into a 5 by 10"  rectangle 3/4 thick fold in half and pat again repeat. Cut out with a floured biscuit cutter reroll scraps and cut out more biscuits
Arrange the biscuits onto a baking sheet brush tops with milk and bake until golden 12 to 15 minutes enjoy
