Hoisin honey chicken wings

6 split chicken wings
2 tbl hoisin sauce
1 tbl aka 1 packet soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon honey
1 tsp ground ginger or fresh minced ginger
pepper to taste
1 tbl toasted sesame seeds, optional
1/2 cup green onions, chopped optional
foil to line cookie sheet*see note
preheat oven to 375 degrees
in a large bowl toss chicken wings with hoisin sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, ginger and pepper transfer wings to a foil lined cookie sheet. bake for 45-50 minutes or until cooked through and golden color turning once. check for doneness with thermometer. serve with garnishes and sweet chili sauce as a dipper
*for a labor day cookout- an idea for Monday: place marinade wings onto a 18x18 inch of foil. form a grilling packet. grill over high heat for 30 minutes turning once. carefully open a packet and top with garnishes as directed (I haven't tried that, but please do if you grill a lot. I do a lot of indoor grilling frying and baking) just so you know ok so happy labor day
