Cheesy macaroni taco bake (from kraft recipe booklet)

hey foodies, I made dinner for my mom on Thursday and this is the best mild Mexican recipe mom ever had, a casserole. I heard there are recalls on kraft cheddar macaroni and cheese. but I would go to trader joe's or sprouts to get their boxed macaroni and cheese (Must be organic) do not buy kraft. I heard they are making changes I don't feel safe to eat it now but will when the ingredients are swapped in. so here is an easy idea and look for labels. any parent can cook. and its super fast dish. so get cooking fast.

Cheesy Macaroni Taco Bake
1 box macaroni and cheese dinner (organic if possible)
1lb lean ground beef
1 pkg taco seasoning mix such as taco bell
1 egg
1 1/2 cups kraft shredded cheddar cheese
3/4 cup taco bell chunky salsa
method
preheat oven to 350 degrees.
prepare macaroni and cheese dinner as directed
meanwhile cook meat with taco seasoning mix as directed on the package. add egg and 1 cup shredded cheese to the prepared macaroni dinner. mix well. spoon into 8 inch square baking dish sprayed with cooking spray cover with meat mixture salsa and remaining cheese. bake for 20 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted. enjoy
