Almond Butter Oatmeal Balls

hey fans, today I decided to make a quick no bake heart healthy cookie for my grandmother i found it on the chew website, but i swtich pb to almond butter to make it mine. so super fast super easy. its best to use quick cook oats it works best when making these energy balls. good souce of fiber and delicious. so get quick sctrach baking the heart health way






Almond Butter Oatmeal balls
1 1/2 cups quick-cooking, old fashioned rolled oats
1 cup almond butter, i found one at the Kaiser south san Francisco farmers market. but they also sell online sales as well.
  • 1/4 cup  milk chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons honey or more to bind and taste
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and stir to combine.
  • Scoop tablespoon size amounts of mixture and roll in your hand. Repeat with remaining mixture.
  • Store in an airtight container between parchment or wax paper
