Pierogi Ragu

hey fans, what do you do with leftover meaty ragu sauce, here's your answer, I use 1 sliced onion in  a skillet with a drizzle of oil until caramelized and then added the 2-3 cups of leftover meat tomato ragu sauce from last night's supper and tossed it with potato and cheese pierogi's mmm its even good with a side salad as a meal filler. so make this easy quick use it up meal and its a great way to stretch the bang for your buck, how good is that. delish! so love you fans, from chef ava








Pierogi Ragu

1 bag or box of frozen potato and cheddar pierogi's such as mrs t's if possible
2-3 cups of leftover meat tomato ragu sauce from last night's dinner
1 onion, sliced
salt, pepper, parmesan cheese etc.
2 tbl oil
method
bring a large pot of heavily salty water to a boil boil pierogis according to box and drain and let cool in pot as you make the ragu sauce.
heat oil over medium high heat. add the sliced onions  season with salt and pepper and carmelized for 15 minutes until a deep caramel brown forms. add in the tomato meat ragu sauce and heat for 5 more minutes until heated through and toss with the pierogis and serve hot in a bowl with parmesan cheese and feed to your friends enjoy and bon appietite
