Black Bean Burgers (From Everyday with Rachael Ray magazine)

hey fans, today I made black bean burgers, a meat free patty meat eaters will adore and love to eat so its made of mashed canned black beans, sauted onion, carrots and mushrooms, an egg panko bread crumbs and bold spices. and its formed into patties and I placed it on  a baking sheet and cooked it @ 450 for 15 minutes until crisp and you got a burger. I top mine with a slice of cheddar in this case American cheese and a few slices of avocado. mmmm delish I serve this on warm toasty burger bun, so enjoy making it for your kids, this is part of my #gimmefive challenge for mrs.Obama so I did it michelle Obama, I made you proud!  Black bean burgers
from everyday with Rachael Ray magazine

cook 1/2 chopped onion, 1 chopped carrot and 1/3 cup chopped mushrooms in 1 tbl evoo until soft. stir in 1 tbl sriracha a good pinch of salt and pepper drain and rinse 1 can black beans and add to the bowl and mash the beans. mix in 3/4 cup panko, the veggie mixture, and a beaten egg shape into patties. bake on a greased cookie sheet lined with foil @ 450 until crispy about 15 minutes. serve on good toasty buns with mayo, avocado, cheddar and want it spicy add sriracha so be creative with your burger toppings. so enjoy!
