Vegan Sloppy Joe Filling (Meatless monday Recipe Idea)

hey fans, today I made a vegan sloppy joe filling using tofu instead of beef, I know you are soo looking for vegan recipes and this solves the problem. my classmate from ECHS c/0 2007 Allie Mckay gave me this recipe and been making this for a while for vegetarians out there. its so full of protein and nutrition. so its wonderful on a toasted bun, I served it soft taco style so I hope you make this @ home soon for any vegans, meat free and meat eaters alike so partciapate in meatless Monday y'all

Vegan Sloppy Joe Filling

1 tbl olive oil
1 tbl molasses
0.5 lb firm tofu crumbled, got mine at trader Joes

2 tbl organic ketchup
1 tbl rice vinegar
salt and pepper to taste
toasted burger buns or tortillas for serving
1 recipe http://autismcooks22.blogspot.com/2013/05/goat-cheese-and-mint-guacamole-dip.html but adding 6 strawberries to the mixture

method
heat olive oil in a sauté pan over medium high heat, add the molasses, add the tofu and cook to brown, be careful not to splash yourself and you will be fine. stirring constantly. add tomato paste and mix well adding water to achieve desired thickness. stir in mustard, onion, ketchup, vinegar and spices and let it simmer until warm through. serve on a toasted bun and enjoy!

we love to serve ours on a guacamole on a tortilla like a soft taco, so let me know how it turns out vegans ok
