Peppers, onions and Provolone Wrapped Cresent Dogs

hi fans, I was making a quick and easy hot dog lunch for my mom, brother and I so I decided to make with leftover caramelized peppers and onions from the pupusas the peppers, onion and provolone cheese wrapped Cresent dogs. I used Pillsbury cresent rolls because this could be a possible 2016 winning recipe for Pillsbury bake off or top 100 spot recipe finalist recipe. you can swap mozzarella slices for provolone cheese. so super easy super good and easy kids will love it especially the new York little ones if you have those kind of kids. so enjoy!

Peppers, onions, and provolone wrapped cresent dogs

8 turkey or beef hot dogs
1 8 oz roll Pillsbury cresent rolls, separted into 8 wedges
4 slices provolone cheese, cut in half like a moon shape
8 tsp sautéed peppers and onions in oil with salt and pepper (basically leftovers from my last blog)

method
preheat oven to 375 degrees
line a cookie sheet with foil set aside. open the cresent rolls up and separate into 8 triangles. lay 1st triangle face up. first place a half moon slice cheese (facing down) then place the hot dog in the center and the spoon 1 tsp of the peppers and onions leftovers on top of the dog. then roll up like a pinwheel form. just like a real cresent bun. and place on a foil lined cookie sheet. repeat with 7 other cresent dogs until all are used up. bake for 13 minutes until golden brown and hot inside. transfer to platter and to serve to friends and family! enjoy alone or with marinara sauce! mmm
