Chicken soft tacos (under $8.00 for a family of three)

hey foodies, last weekend I was looking for recipes to use up my Costco Rotisstrie chicken and so I decided to buy stuff from grocery outlet to make tacos for my mom/dad and me. so I also picked up the recipe packet called feed your family for 4 bucks a day, as their sponsor so heres the complete recipe and grocery list and of course images, so enjoy!

1 onion 0.50
1 8oz can tomato sauce 0.50
1 pkg corn tortillas 2.00

garlic
vegetable oil
cumin

chicken tacos
from grocery outlet
1 tbl vegetable oil
1/2 onion, minced
1 minced garlic cloves or grated
1/2 cup of a 8 oz tomato sauce
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp salt
1 lb cooked chicken breast
6 warmed corn tortillas
method
heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat add onion sauté for 5 minutes until onion is softend at the last minute of cooking add in the garlic so it doesn't burn. add the tomato sauce, cumin, and a little salt and continue to cook another minute. add the cooked chicken and cook until just heated through about 2 minutes taste, correct the seasonings if needed and serve with tortillas and enjoy!
