Ravioli with a mushroom cream sauce

hello readers, 2 days ago I made my mom/dad a nice ravioli dish, made with a simple mushroom cream sauce. super easy super good, not an everyday dish to eat its best eaten on a date night or on weekends with friends you can double or triple the recipe so make this at home, I came up with the sauce recipe its soo good!






Ravioli with mushroom cream sauce

1 9 oz pkg trader joe's arugula and parmiggiano reggiano ravioli
1 8 oz sliced mushrooms
2 tbl butter
1 cup heavy cream
pepper to taste
1/4-1/2 cup parmesan cheese plus more to serve

method.
heat a large pot of boiling water to a boil make sure to season with loads of salt to taste like the sea. add the ravioli and cook for 3-4 minutes.
in the meanwhile use a skillet and add 2 tbl butter over medium high heat, add mushrooms and cook until soft 5-7 minutes. season with pepper. no salt to season because parmesan has salt in it. once the mushrooms are wilted add in the cream and cook for a few minutes until creamy and thickened a bit add in parmesan cheese and cook 1 more minute. add the drained ravoli to the sauce and toss around to coat the sauce. and boom! you are done. if too thin add a little more cream if too thick add a little milk to loosen but don't over do it. divide into bowls and top with more parmesan cheese and serve! yum!
