Popcorn balls
hello reader's last week made popcorn balls for my dear friend's becky's group home buddies, from her caregivers to her roommates at sweetwater specturm supportive living home, in Sonoma california, they love the popcorn balls, so i will be making another batch for my collegues at my via west camp job and they will love it to, so here's the recipe and i hope you all enjoy this with your kids at home!
popcorn balls
6 tbl butter
3 cups mini marshmallows
3 tbl Dry Jello, any flavor (i used cherry jello)
3 quarts popped popcorn
method
in a medium pot over medium heat melt butter and marshmallows together, once melted add in the jello and mix until incorporated then pour this gooey mixture onto popped corn in a bowl and mix until it comes together, then roll into balls and place on foiled line baking sheet and place in fridge to get harden but let it come to room temperature a bit. then it's ready to pack for your friends as gifts or as a treat
*oil your hands with non-stick cooking spray it helps with the rolling the popcorn into balls and will not be sticky
