2 Cookie Recipes (butterscotch pecan and lemon crisp)

hello reader's need help getting into the holiday baking spirit, i got 2 easy to make cookies, i sold at my neighborhood friend's hair salon for the customers out there and the secret is they are made both with a box cake mix so i hope you enjoy the two cookie recipes, so bake up a batch and enjoy!

Lemon crisp cookies
1 box lemon cake mix
1 cup rice krispies cereal
1 stick melted butter
1 egg, beaten
method
combine all ingredients into a large mixing bowl until it forms into a consistency of a cookie dough
shape into 1 inch balls, make sure they are the same size and place onto cookie sheets 2 inches apart bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes cool completely and enjoy

Butterscotch pecan cookies

1 box yellow cake mix
1/2 cup light brown sugar
5 tbl buttermik*see note
1/2 stick melted butter
1 egg
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 cup pecans
method
preheat oven to 375 degrees, grease cookie sheets with cooking spray set aside
in a large mixing bowl add all ingredients except for pecans and butter scotch and mix until it forms into a cookie dough, then fold in the butterscotch and pecans mixing to incorporate. drop dough using a cookie scoop 2 tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto cookie sheets
bake for 10-13 minutes until golden brown and set in centers. cool on baking sheets for a few minutes then transfer to a cooling rack. enjoy
*note i dont buy buttermilk i make my own using 1 cup milk to 1 tsp lemon juice and let it sit for a few minutes and it turns into buttermilk, so bake today!
