this recipe uses bottom of the jar ingredients to make perfect salad dressing no mayo in this one, its a lot healthier than mayo based dressings, so this one is from rachael ray with a fresh spin from chef Ava so enjoy and try it at your next tea or garden party!

Ingredients

  • 1 jar pepper jelly with a couple tablespoons of jelly left at the bottom of the jar
  • 2 tablespoons pickled jalapeƱos, chopped
  • Zest and juice of 1 lime
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup EVOO – Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Hot water
  • 2-3 cups cooked chicken, i use costco chicken already cooked
  • 1 pkg round wonton wrappers
method
Add all of the ingredients to the jar, replace the lid and shake until combined. Toss with some pulled rotisserie chicken and cilantro; top with the crisp wontons and serve
 
tip: heat canola oil to medium high heat, fry the wonton wrapper in oil like potato chips until crispy on both sides, drain on paper towels and serve with chicken salad
